Theyre the kind of people who would find plenty of things to complain about even if the game was literally perfect. A lot of people who wanted a game very similar to the first game but at the same time if the devs did that, they would be the same people crying that below zero is just a copy and paste of the origonal. A lot of people who are expecting to much. Since reading the threads since day one for this game its practically been loaded with mostly people crying about stuff thats completely subjective to them and things that really arent a big deal. wait until the game fully releases and then read reviews, but even then you would have to be cautious. Meaning its smaller width wise but vertically its quite large. In this game they tried going with a layered map. They tried a lot of new things with this game and one of those being the way they built the map. If thats the case then yeah width wise its a bit smaller. To directly answer your question though, the map is smaller than the first IF you're only judging it based on its width. Just my thoughts, but if youre questioning if this game is for you, id recomend just waiting to see what happens with the game when it fully releases and then judge the game for yourself.
